What CTOs actually look for in an agency stack
Logo walls are not diligence. Here is the stack rationale we write down — and the questions you should ask any studio.
A grid of technology logos is a brochure. A one-sentence rationale plus the project where it was used is diligence. That is the bar we hold on this site, and the bar we expect from ourselves in a technical interview.
Ask where the data lives, how tenancy is enforced, and what happens when the model is wrong. Ask to see an Architecture Decision Record. If the room goes quiet, you have your answer.
We pick Next.js when the marketing surface and the product should share a pipeline. PostgreSQL when we are not ready to pay the tax of five services. Fly.io when we want containers without giving up regions. None of those are religion. They are bets we can defend.
If you are evaluating Vendari, start with the TestFlow or Consent Hub case — then try the live brief analyzer. A studio that will not show its working will not show it after the contract either.
